Ultrasound

NEVS has a small animal ultrasound in house for quick diagnosis of a range of issues. Best for soft tissue and fluid pathology, we use our ultrasound to quickly diagnose fluid pockets after significant trauma, examine the structure of organs or masses, and take measurements of structures. Ultrasound is non-invasive and safe for even compromised patients. Our veterinarians are continuing their training in this modality to allow for a more thorough examination of the more difficult areas of ultrasound.
