Why Choose Us as Your Armidale Vet

Experienced Staff
Caring for Armidale Pets since 2007 Emma established New England Veterinary Services in 2017 to provide exceptional care in a locally owned Armidale Vet Clinic.

Independently owned
New England Veterinary Clinic is an independently owned, local business providing general practice and specialty veterinary care.

We provide excellent animal care and customer service, and pride ourselves on our dedication to our patients.

Tailored Treatment
Our highly experienced team are committed to keeping your pets healthy and happy!
About Us
New England Veterinary Services is a locally owned business dedicated to providing optimum care for pets and animals in the Armidale and surrounding areas. Emma Billing (BVSc) is passionate about animal health and welfare and ensures this resonates through the clinic, with the aim of providing personal and caring care to pets and owners alike.
NEVS works with the local RSPCA and Companion Animal Shelters to ensure animals to are rehomed are in the best health possible, and we provide support and volunteer our services and time to these organisations in an effort to create awareness for responsible pet ownership. NEVS also provides care for many injured wildlife cases, working with NTWC and WIRES volunteers to create a recovered and releasable animal as often as we can.
NEVS has a strong interest in stress-free veterinary care, and knows bringing your pet to the vet can be stressful for both owner and pet! We take extra measures to create a more relaxed and positive environment for your pet at each visit to create positive associations which means a happier visit for everyone involved. We do this through separate cat and dog consult and hospital rooms, stress-free handling methods, and just taking that extra bit of time to make your pet feel more comfortable. We are also Cat Friendly Accredited with the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM).

Testimonials

To have someone show compassion, and understanding and let you feel at ease, that is so helpful.
New England vet clinic help you, support you and make you feel that everything possible is being done for your pet.

We have an anxious cattle dog, and Emma’s expertise in behaviour management- along with her excellent clinical skill- has made such a positive difference. He’s now able to receive the exceptional care he needs much more comfortably and we’re incredibly grateful for this.
The practice itself is fantastic, thoughtfully designed with a focus on animal comfort and low stress care. There’s always a calm, positive atmosphere when we visit and we feel confident that our dog is in the best hands. Thanks to all at NEVS, we highly recommend them.

Over the years, they have been nothing short of amazing. Dedicated, compassionate, professional, and wonderfully human, they somehow manage to bring warmth and even humour to situations that can be stressful or overwhelming. You can genuinely feel how much they care — not just for the animals, but for the people who love them.
In 2025, after a short illness, we sadly lost our beautiful Millie. It was one of the hardest times for our family. The care, empathy and support from the entire team was truly palpable — they wrapped us in their kindness during such a heartbreaking time. Millie was treated with such dignity and love, and we were supported in a way that we will never forget.
I am so grateful to have found a veterinary team I trust completely. Thank you, Emma and everyone at New England Vet Services, for the extraordinary work you do and for the genuine compassion you show every single day. Our little family is so lucky to have you.
