Cat Friendly Hospital

Cats perceive the world a little differently than dogs, and being the control-freaks they are, they get a little upset when placed outside of their comfort zone. This is why we, at NEVS, strive to make your kitty as happy as possible with separate areas from dogs (both consult and hospital), pheromones, stress-free handling techniques and hospital protocols. We use every technique we can to keep your cat calm during consult and hospitalisation and provide them with opportunities to display normal behaviour for the situation which can greatly reduce stress and allow for a more thorough exam, positive association and a happier visit for everyone involved. We have just achieved a silver Cat Friendly Accreditation with the International Society of Feline Medicine to ensure our cat-friendly hospital is, well, up to scratch.
